Well, we’ve had a good first half of the season, been at the top and are now SO close to the top!! Here’s hoping 2009 starts well this weekend…we have a few interesting new ’signings’ and returns to the line-up, so we can’t wait to see how itall gels tomorrow :0) Nickyis crazy-busy at work, I obviously have nothing to do at home with a toddler and 4-month old giant boy on my hands, so here’s me and what I have to say…again…sorry! Actually, that was it…heehee Here’s hoping the weather is kind to us on Saturdays…

May 16, 2008 by croydonladies2It’s a sad day – it’s been officially confirmed, we’ve been relegated…gutted. Oh well, an interesting re-shuffle of the leagues and we’re looking good for Division 6 next year anyway – here’s to a promotion season! At least we know we didn’t really deserve to get the drop – hope no-one out there feels too guilty or anything - other teams in Div 5, won’t mention names – but hey, we’re revved up and rearing to go! Lots of new ladies joining us over the summer, and the inevitable return of our top goalscorer Clairesy, and who knows what heady heights await us…see you on a pitch soon ladies! Jen Mill x
